The free review

What happens on the free review?

A student loan expert spends 20 minutes by phone reviewing your loans and goals. You leave with your recommended plan, your estimated new payment, how it affects your mortgage, and a clear quote if you want us to handle the work.

Is the review really free?

Yes. You leave with your recommended plan and estimated payment whether or not you move forward.

Do I have to buy anything?

No. There is no obligation. If you'd like us to handle your filing, your advisor explains the options and you decide.

What should I have ready?

Your studentaid.gov login and a rough idea of your income. We send a short checklist when you book.

Cost

How much does LoanSense cost?

It depends on what your loans need. Your advisor gives you clear pricing on your free review, before you commit to anything. You can pay in full or in installments.

Why don't you list one flat price?

Some borrowers need one repayment plan filing. Others need consolidation, rehabilitation, or a borrower defense claim first. Quoting after your review means you only pay for what your loans need, and we give clear and accessible education upfront for ABSOLUTELY FREE!

Buying a home

Will a lower payment help me qualify for a mortgage?

Often, yes. Lenders look at your debt-to-income ratio, so a lower student loan payment can increase how much home you qualify for. Our clients see an average increase of $99,802 in home buying budget. Individual results vary.

Programs we handle

What services do you help with?

Income-driven repayment plans, Public Service Loan Forgiveness, loan consolidation, loan rehabilitation for loans in default, and borrower defense discharge claims. Your advisor tells you which apply to you.

Can I apply for these programs myself?

Yes. You can apply for federal student loan programs on your own at no cost at studentaid.gov. Borrowers work with us for expert guidance on which program fits, error-free paperwork, and follow-up with their servicer. We assist in servicer error management and make your life less stressful.
